Currently looking for a skilled Bookkeeper/Payroll Specialist to fill a temporary opening with a temporary staffing company located in Mahwah, NJ. Interested candidates should have prior human resource experience and strong accounting and office management skills.

Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist

Execute In-house weekly payroll, weekly taxes for Federal and State NJ NY + ACH payroll transfer
Produce Quarterly reports + taxes for Federal and State NJ NY
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Bank Reconciliation
Journal Entries
General Ledger
Prepare Financial Statements
Complete Cloud based system connects employees, job orders, and customers.

Requirements of the Bookkeeper / Payroll Specialist

Prior Human resource experience
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong accounting and office management skills
Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks
Experience using an online payroll program such as ADP, Paychex, etc
